Are in-person appointments available?
Heather Parkerson is available in-person at our office in Evanston. Currently, the other providers are only available for tele-health appointments.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, we are accepting new patients. Dr. Seicean is licensed in IL & MD, Heather is licensed in IL & IN, Lydia is licensed in IL & DC, and Eric is licensed to practice interjurisdictionally in 35 states.
Do your providers do consultation for second opinions?
We are happy to provide second opinions if you are considering changing providers. However, only our clinical psychologist Dr. Proescher provides Free 15min consultations.
What ages do your providers treat?
Dr. Seicean, Dr. Proescher and Lydia work with adolescents and adults. Heather is a sub-specialized in child and adolescent psychiatry sees clients starting as young as 5 years old.
Are services reimbursable through insurance?
Our providers are "out-of-network" and do not contract with any health insurance plans, including Medicare or Medicaid.
We provide clients with statements that may be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement based on out-of-network benefits.
How do I find out how much my insurance company will reimburse me for your service?
Call your insurance company (number on the back of your card) and ask about out-of-network benefits. Refer to the treatment codes 90792 (60 min initial psychiatric diagnostic medical evaluation) and 99214 (30 min follow-up visit).
What can I expect from initial and follow-up appointments?
Initial appointments for adults are one-hour. Children & Adolescents require 2 one-hour intake appointments. The first appointment is for the parents/guardians and the second for the minor.
Spravato (intranasal esketamine) evaluations require 2 one-hour intake appointments.
Medication management follow-up appointments are usually 30 minutes and generally once a month depending on your individual situation. Therapy appointments are generally once a week or once every 2 weeks.
What is your cancellation policy?
In order to be refunded, please inform us at least 7 days prior to your initial intake appointment and 2 business days prior to follow-up appointments.
What do I do in case of emergency?
If you are having an emergency, please dial 911 and/or go to your nearest emergency department.
